“When you meditate, sit in a space where you can focus on your meditation practice. In that space, is where you’ll cultivate a state of self-awareness. You can connect with your inner self to explore your true nature. When you are quiet in the mind, meditation helps to dissolve any limitations that hinder authentic self-expression.”

In this blog, we’re going to talk about the throat chakra. The throat chakra, also known as the Vishuddha chakra, it’s one of the seven chakras in the body according to Hindu and Buddhist traditions.   It is associated with communication, self-expression, creativity, the ability to speak your truth, and the power of sound. The word “Vishuddha” in Sanskrit means “pure” meaning that this chakra is related to purifying and balancing one’s expression. When our throat chakra is balanced, you’ll find that you can express yourself in a much more authentic way. Communicating your artistic visions with clarity will be part of your journey. Let’s start this transformative journey, embracing the power of our throat chakra, and unleashing the soulful creativity that resides within each of us.

Meditation: Meditation can be a powerful tool if you’d like to work with the Vishuddha chakra. The throat chakra and practice of meditation techniques will allow you to tap into your authentic creative expressions and connect with others in a whole new stage of energy. The throat chakra is associated with intuition. You can gain access to your intuition and gain guidance from your higher self or spiritual resources.

Speak your mind: Exploring our thoughts, feelings, and motives can resonate with you on a deeper level to understand what you genuinely desire. Remember, self-awareness is crucial to aligning our truest desires with the throat chakra. It is about authentic self-expression and communication that comes from a place of integrity, respect, and compassion.

Quiet your mind: When you meditate, sit in a space where you can focus on your meditation practice. In that space, is where you’ll cultivate a state of self-awareness. You can connect with your inner self to explore your true nature. When you are quiet in the mind, meditation helps to dissolve any limitations that hinder authentic self-expression. It allows individuals to release self-doubt, fear, and inhibitions that may prevent the free flow of creative energy.

Visual: Deepen your visualization as you Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Imagine expressing your thoughts and ideas. At that moment, it’s time to let go of any tension you may be holding. Stay in this visualization zone for as long as you feel comfortable, and allow the energy to balance, and align. Align our truest desires of inspiration while being able to embrace vulnerability as we open ourselves up to the continuous possibilities of creative expression.

Crystals:  Setting your intentions for a crystal meditation is key to focusing on abundance. You can create a crystal grid and this type of energy meditation is a powerful tool to utilize to address various aspects of your life. When you’re ready to use crystals, research crystals that will fit your specific intention. It’s important to choose the type of crystal that aligns with your intentions because each crystal holds unique energies. You may choose to work with a single crystal or a combination of crystals. You’ll be able to experience well-being and harmony. You see, energy is fundamental in various spiritual practices. The flow of energy throughout the body has its own unique energetic qualities. Experiment and see which crystals work best for you and your throat chakra healing journey.

Affirmations: There’s no time than the present to write your own daily affirmations that can help you reinforce positive statements and mantras that will deepen your connection with the Vishuddha chakra. It’s important to find a balance that will work for you and allow you to engage in this practice without feeling overwhelmed. Consistency is key. Set time aside within your routine to write your affirmations. If it’s been some time since you’ve written from your heart, focus on quality instead of quantity. Start with a word count that’s going to be comfortable for you and then you can increase your number if desired. When you write, infuse your writing with intention, and clear sincerity, and allow those words you want to say to connect with your desires. Setting this type of positive affirmation up will affirm your desired outcome and will align with your energy and the crystal’s properties. Repeat one or more of the words you wrote out loud. This is where you can truly feel the meaning and power behind the words you’ve written.

Below are some affirmations that you can incorporate into your daily practices for the Vishuddha chakra:

  • I express myself and speak my inner wisdom.
  • I trust my intuition and communicate freely and confidently.
  • My words are powerful, uplifting, strong and authentic.
  • I am open to expressing divine inspiration.
  • I attract positive communication into my life.

It’s through creative free will that we can harness the power of the throat chakra by finding our voices, embracing the energy, manifesting our desires, and connecting with others on an authentic level.
